3. Why do we squint when exposed to bright light? We squint when we are exposed to bright light because the pupil cannot take in all bright light so when we are in the dark, we won't squint because it is not as bright.

5. Discuss the implications of losing one eye? When losing one eye you won't be able to see as much as you could when you had two. When you have two you will be able to see all around you. Task 2 1.
Do you know anyone who wears glasses or contacts?
Yes my mum wears glasses
Why?
She wears glasses because she is farsighted.
How do glass or contacts help?
The glasses help her see clearer.

Are there other solutions for people with visual impairments?
Yes some people could be shortsighted therefore they can get laser surgery but for farsighted people you need to stick with glasses because they can not yet get laser surgery.
